#2. Churn Pool Fishery

When it comes to beauty, the Cotswolds are right up there. It is hardly surprising that they are home to one of the best exclusive carp fishing lakes in England!

Forming part of a chain of waterparks, this lake houses some real monsters.

At a mere 4.5 acres in size, you’ll have a good chance of locating them without having to do too much hunting.

The venue can be booked for five anglers at a time and features quite a few creature comforts to boot, including a lodge, BBQ, and a two bedroomed lodge!

Why not get a gang together and make a weekend of it?

There is a large perimeter fence, too, meaning that it is entirely yours for the day once you have booked.

#3. Stuffins Pit Carp Pool

Exclusive isn’t some meaningless moniker. It literally means ‘restricted to a person or group’.

This is exactly what you will get with Stuffins carp pool. For a fee, you’ll be granted sole access to the water.

This comes with the use of a touring caravan so you can stop and make a brew if you aren’t too busy in your bivvy!

This water, located in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside, houses some real rod benders, with carp over 30lb being caught consistently.

While all three lakes promise double-figure carp starting with a ‘3’, you’ll want to make your way to the ‘reservoir’ to be in with a shout of the biggest numbers.

With 24 swims spread over 24 acres, you’ll have plenty of room all to yourself.

If you prefer to hire a whole lake for a small party of anglers then Meadow Lake and Poultons Lake are great choices.

#5. Olivemead Lake

An onsite lodge, which perches above the same water that you will be fishing? Sounds pretty exclusive to us!

Olivemead was a former clay pit, and substantial work was undertaken in 2008 to make it a place where big carp can thrive.

While you might not think the stocking numbers sound all that high, it is well worth remembering that this exclusive carp fishing venue is only 3 acres in size.

As a result, the density of fish per acre might be one of the highest in England!

They also have a policy of removing smaller fish, so you are practically guaranteed to hook into a big one provided you choose an effective method.

Another of the most exclusive carp fishing lakes in England nestled in the bosom of the Cotswolds.

Cherry lakes offer luxury lodges and cottages to supplement your fishing adventure. What makes it so exclusive?

With the hire of a lodge, you gain sole use of its associated lake. We’d opt for the cherry pool, which is exclusive to the Egret lodge.

The other pools and lakes are all tied to lodges. Whichever you choose, you’ll find a decent stock of sizeable fish, easily pushing the 30lb mark and sometimes above!

Cherry lake, in particular, houses one resident who’s putting on weight and at last measure was 44lb.

While Westfield is a day ticket water, we said we would bring you some of the most exclusive carp fishing lakes in England…

So you’ll be pleased to know that if you (and possibly a gang of mates) decide to, you can hire the venue exclusively for your own personal use!

The single lake at Westfield can accommodate up to 8 anglers for a full 24 hours and also provides space for camping alongside the swims.

For slightly smaller parties, there is onsite accommodation too!

The current record carp taken from the water comes to 38lb. Still, Westfield’s website confidently claims there is bigger lurking beneath.

#8. The Woolpack Fishery

There must be something in the water in Cambridge, as this is another exclusive carp fishing lake in the county.

The exclusive lake is based in Huntingdon. You’ll be granted sole use along with the possibility of catching fish up to 40lb!

Exclusivity means reducing numbers, so choose your friends wisely as they only allow you and three others. 

With exclusivity comes a touch of class which is why Woolpack fisheries will even help unload your luggage and escort you down to the swim (if you ask nicely, you might be able to get a few tips along the way too!)

This isn’t a lake for novices. There is dense weed cover at certain times of the year, so you have really got to know what you are doing.

While you can get a day ticket to Carpdell fishery, it is also available to reserve for your sole use.

This lake is one of the oldest and greatest. With a 70 year history, it is thoroughly ‘bedded in’ and natural.

 You’ve got plenty of hire options if you are looking for exclusive use. The maximum you can hire this lake for is 7 days.

This allows you to bring a party of six people and hook into a few big ones that have been homegrown over several seasons.

You’ll be able to fish for various carp species, including commons, mirrors, and the occasional huge bream!

#11. Bearley Lakes

Located in the heart of the Devonshire countryside, both lakes feature onsite accommodation allowing you to make the most of your time (and to avoid your mates snoring in a bivvy).

For some of the biggest commons you’ll have seen in your life, Willow lake is the one to go for. It has a couple of residents who, by now, will easily be pushing 40lb!
